How To Get The Look

Charlize Theron's side swept braided bun can be yours in 4 easy steps! Start off by prepping hair with Bliss Smoothing Cream before you blow-dry hair and then apply Bassu Hydrating Oil to dry hair for control and shine. Next, part your hair to the side and begin French braiding hair just above your ear until you reach across your head. Twist the finished braid into a low bun and pin. Winter Weather Hair

It is Official!! Its cold out, one the the best ways to stay warm in those winter months is a nice cozy hat.  But no one likes hat head!! Here is a few tips to avoid "Hat head":

1.  Wear it Curly:  Starting out with a messy texture will make it easier to poof up that flat hat head look.  Start with towel dried hair and add Bumble and Bumble ,Texture, from roots to ends. Take large sections and twist the hair, then either air dry with hair twisted or diffuse with a diffuser and blow drier, with hair twisted.  When dry, separate the twisted sections and add Bumble and Bumble Does it all spray.   When you remove your hat Place your hands into your hair on your scalp and Massage in a circular direction, this will poof up your hair with out causing too much frizz on the ends.

2.  Wear it half up:  One of the ways I avoid hat head is when I am putting a hat on I make sure I place half of my hair up.  When you take the hat off take down that section and it will not be flat to the head.  Always make sure you have a travel size hairspray in your purse to help tame fly aways.

3.  Choose a cute hat to wear all day:  There are so many cute styles of hats today, especially ones that are acceptable for work or in door wear.  If you are going for a more boho look try a floppy brimmed felt hat,  If you are going for a more business look go for a structured fedora hat, and if you are going for a more casual look try a cute knitted head wrap!!
